GOVERNMENT has firmly reiterated that no individual in Zambia enjoys immunity from prosecution except the President during tenure as enshrined in the Constitution of the land.
Information and Media Minister Cornelius Mweetwa said the rule of law remained supreme and applied equally to all citizens, regardless of political, religious or social standing.
Speaking during a media engagement in Choma yesterday, Mr Mweetwa said before the law, under the law, and within the law, citizens were all equal, adding that there should be no moral or imagined immunity outside what the Constitution provided.
