Tina Mutale (not her real name), broke up with her husband more than two years ago because she could not bear children.
Stella Mwanza (not her real name either) even lost an eye and hearing because her former husband regularly brutalised her over her alleged infertility.
Countless other stories similar to the two examples above are common in Zambia and across Africa.
Sadly, not many of such stories find their way in newspapers, on television, radio or the array of online publications.
