TWENTY-SIX out of 42 grade nine pupils from a private school in Ndola are stranded on Chilubi Island in Northern Province after they undertook the long trip to sit for exams, only to find they were not part of the list of registered pupils.
With the exams ending today, the children, each of whom is said to have paid K600, have missed the chance to write the examination in the subjects they entered for.
Education authorities are looking for the principal of Super Shine Private School in Twapia area, who is believed to be on the run, to answer to various charges in the manner the trip was organised.
