THE Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has appealed against the Lusaka Magistrate Court’s decision to discharge former Tourism minister Ronald Chitotela of two counts of possession of property reasonably suspected to be proceeds of crime.
It was alleged that between May 1, 2017 and October 30, 2018 jointly and whilst acting together with another person unknown Chitotela possessed property number 3270/M, valued at K380, 000 reasonably suspected to be a proceed of crime.
