POWER Dynamos midfielder Lubambo Musonda has left Zambia to attend trials in Europe.
Club sectretary Ricky Mamfunda said in Kitwe yesterday that the Zambia Under-20 captain and Chipolopolo midfielder was out of the country but had no further details as to which club had invited him for trials.
“I don’t have any official noticifation from K-Stars in relation to Lubambo,” Mamfunda said.
Separate sources have indicated that Lubmabo has received interest from France and Russia.
The 19-year-old midfielder is currently in his second season on loan at Power from FAZ Division One South club K-Stars of Lusaka.
Lubambo hit the headlines on June 6, after scoring a stunning goal in Zambia’s 4-3 friendly defeat to Japan in Tampa, Florida.
And striker Alex Ngonga has returned to Power after a two-week trail at South African Premier Soccer League side Mpumalanga Black Aces.
However, Ngonga is unlikely to feature in todays MTN/FAZ Super Leaguei Week 17 home game against Indeni at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe.
“He only trained for two days so he cant make it. He trained well but we cant just put him in the team everyone should fight for a place,” Power coach Tennant Chilumba said.
