National rally champion Jassy Singh says his target is to reclaim the African title next year.

The former African champion, who did not compete in this year’s ARC race owing to school commitments, said he will consider entering for the 2015 ARC with his new

Subaru Impreza N12 he acquired after his old car got burnt during the Airtel Money International Rally.

“My aim in 2015 is to go for ARC and reclaim the title I won in 2013 but this will only come to light if sponsors come on board,” he said.

Jassy described the 2014 as a great success but that it was tough despite him winning the national rally having missed some stages of the rally.

He said in an interview yesterday that 2014 was a good season despite facing a number of challenges before being crowned champion.

Jassy said it was a very competitive season but that he was glad that he withstood the pressure to emerge victories.

“The year 2014 was a great season, it was a success, I was crowned champion but it was tough because I faced challenges. My young brother Muna Junior and Geoffrey Chulu have me good competition.

“My lowest moment in the year was when my car got burnt during the Airtel Money Rally in Chisamba but I am proud of my achievement and look forward to see what next year will bring,” he said.
