Eagles 1 Nakambala 1
EARLY league pacesetters Green Eagles maintained their one-point slender lead at the summit of the MTN-FAZ Super League table despite dropping two massive points against Nakambala Leopards in a Week Four clash.
Eagles lead the log with eight points followed by Nkwazi, who thumped Red Arrows 2-0, on seven points as Power Dynamos joined Konkola Blades and Nchanga Rangers who drew 0-0, on six points.
Back to the Independence Stadium in Choma, Mathews Tembo gave Eagles the lead in the 71st minute, a goal that seemed destined to hand the home side maximum points. But Luka Tembo had other ideas spoiling the party deep into stoppage time when he scored the equaliser.
Power 3 Napsa 0
POWER Dynamos put behind their 2015 CAF Confederation Cup exit with a resounding home win over Napsa Stars, reports KALUMIANA KALUMIANA at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe.
A brace from striker Felix Sunzu plus a second half strike by Jimmy Ndhlovu handed Power a deserved home win over Napsa who held out for the first 20 minutes of the first half.
Sunzu headed in his brace in the 19th and 39th minute but he could have walked away with the ball had he not fired wide in-between from close-range chance in the 24th minute.
Power striker Luka Lungu was unfortunate to see his 66th header come off the post before Ndhlovu turned in Sunzu’s cross a minute later to hand the host their second win this season with two games in hand.
Nkwazi 2 Arrows 0
AT Edwin Imboela Stadium, Nkwazi moved up to seven points on the log after beating Arrows in an exciting match that saw both sides finish the game with a man less, reports GWEN CHIPASULA.
Chipungu Musukuma scored from a penalty to give Nkwazi the lead in the 11th minute before the game became a dead rubber with action returning when Bronson Chama was red carded by referee Evans Musonda in the 70th minute.
Nkwazi doubled their lead in the 80th minute through Gilbert Tembo but the home side saw their player Kasongo Mwepya sent for an early shower for an altercation with the referee after giving a provocative gesture to the away fans. Arrows remained stuck on five points.
Forest 0 Buffaloes 3
COACH Wedson ‘Wada’ Nyirenda recorded his first victory in Green Buffaloes’ colours as his side ran riot to annihilate struggling Forest Rangers in an impressive style at Dola Hill Stadium, reports MOSES CHIMFWEMBE.
With head Coach Dabid Chilufya and his assistant Willie Nkonde on administrative leave for a poor run of results, second assistant coach Simonda Kaunda could not better matters in this fixture as he helplessly watched his side trampled by Buffaloes.
First half goals from Diamond Chikwekwe and Lottie Phiri handed the visitors a comfortable 2-0 advantage at the break before Kangwa Chileshe made it impossible for a Forest comeback when he fired home in the second half to snatch maximum points away from home.
Buffaloes, who have two games in hand, moved from the bottom of the log on three points while Forest remained on single point.
Zanaco 1 Dynamos 1
LUSAKA Dynamos failed to hold on to a fifth minute lead allowing Zanaco to snatch a draw in the 89th minute as both sides settled for a draw after an exciting match, reports SANDRA MWILA from Sunset Stadium.
Thomas Mbolela gave Dynamos a dream start with a well taken free-kick but with a minute remaining on the clock, Zanaco equalised through a Ernest Mbewe header off A Emmanuel Phiri pass. Zanaco are now on five points while Dynamos have two points.

Assembly 0 Nkana 1
FROM Woodlands Stadium, SHAMAOMA MUSONDA reports that discontented Nkana fans were yesterday left happy that watching their side pick up the first win of the season.
The win also took away the heavy load off the shoulders of coach Beston Chambeshi, who celebrated the only goal of the game with a prayer, as Nkana went up to four points while Assembly were left still searching for the first win.
After three unimpressive games so far in the season, it was a second half goal by Austin Muwowo in the 63rd minute that eased the pressure that was building on Nkana, who last week sacked two assistant coaches in Zeddy Saileti and Gift Kampamba.
Blades 0 Rangers 0
IN Chililabombwe, Konkola Blades missed an opportunity to close in on leaders Eagles as they were held at home by Nchanga Rangers as both sides moved on six points.
Zesco v Wanderers
LEVY Mwanawasa Stadium will this afternoon be set alight when legendary ‘Mighty’ Mufulira Wanderers and reigning champions Zesco United lock horns in the MTN-FAZ Super League Week Four encounter, reports MOSES CHIMFWEMBE.
Zesco will be looking forward to bounce back with a win after their first round exit from the CAF 2015 Champions League competition at the hands of Guinea side, AS Kaloum in Bamako last weekend.
However, the nine-time Zambian champions will not be pushovers as they have proven to be serious contenders for a top spot having beaten Nkwazi and National Assembly with 1-0 and 2-1 scores respectively in their last two games to amass a maximum six points.
The defending MTN-FAZ league champions are unbeaten at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium this year and will be hoping to maintain the home record by pulling off an outright victory against an inform ‘Mighty’ side.
