Zanaco, who at the weekend thrashed Green Buffaloes 3-0, moved from fourth place to lead the log with 11 points followed by Power, who have a game in hand, on nine points same with Konkola Blades and Green Eagles.

Champions Zesco United continued dropping points after playing to a barren draw against Buffaloes, who are third from bottom with four points, as the Ndola side went to eight points but equally having played a game less.
The match at Sunset started on a quick pace but was somewhat disturbed after Police officers manning the gate were forced to fire some teargas to disperse the unruly fans, who refused to pay the K50 after the initial fee of K20 was adjusted upwards.
Potipher Zulu would have given the hosts the lead in the 12th minute but his shot went wide after he was nicely set up by Charles Zulu.
Power came close to taking the lead in the 41st minute through Kelvin Mubanga but he drove his shot wide before missing another good scoring opportunity two minutes before Phiri punished the visitors for their wastefulness.
Phiri scored at the stroke of half time after after dribbling the Power defence, a lead the Numba Mumamba side held on to till 90 minutes to establish themselves as potential league title contenders.
Buffaloes 0 Zesco 0
AT Woodlands Stadium, GWEN CHIPASULA reports that Zesco coach George Lwandamina was left happy with a point his side picked off Buffaloes saying it was better than losing.
It was a frustrating day for Zesco who were hoping to get back to winning ways following their 0-0 draw against Nkana at the weekend but found a Buffaloes side difficult to break.
Striker Jackson Mwanza missed a good opportunity to give Zesco the lead in the sixth minute after his attempt landed straight at goalkeeper Davey Kaumbwa before the post denied the hosts a lead.
Buffaloes striker Diamond Chikwewe agonisingly watched as his header hit the crossbar in the 12th minute in a match that saw both sides creating several scoring chances but just missing the finishing touch.
