WINA 628x350By SARAH MWANZA –

VICE-PRESIDENT Inonge Wina has urged the Church to continue praying for President Edgar Lungu and his Cabinet for God’s guidance in order for them to render service to the people.
Ms Wina also urged Zambians to remain steadfast in the Lord and united beyond all imaginary boundaries.
She said this in a speech read on her behalf by Deputy Minister in the Office of the Vice-President Lazarous Bwalya during the Seventh Day Adventist Jubilee celebrations in Lusaka yesterday.
Ms Wina said Government would endeavour to guarantee freedom of worship to all citizens as enshrined in the Constitution.
She said the President and his Cabinet needed the hand of God to be able to provide the necessary amenities that the people of Zambia needed.  “During 50 years of its existence, the Church has enjoyed peace and harmony among its members. This could not have been possible without peace and stability in the nation. It is for this reason that we thank God for having political leadership that has continued to grant us freedom of worship,” she said. She urged all Zambians to continue pronouncing the Moto of One Zambia One Nation regardless of their political, social or religious affiliations.
