OVER 50 traditional leaders have been invited to this year’s Nc’wala traditional ceremony of the Ngoni people in Eastern Province.
Chief Madzimawe said in Chipata yesterday that 50 traditional leaders across the country were expected to be part of this year’s Nc’wala ceremony.
The traditional leader said he was hopeful that this year’s ceremony would surpass the previous ceremonies because of the delegates that have been invited.
He said Paramount Chief Mpezeni has also invited President Edgar Lungu to grace the ceremony.
He said the traditional ceremony has also extended invitations to political parties.
“Political parties have been invited to this year’s ceremony because we want to make it unique since we are in an election year,” he said.
