Netball champs Buffaloes continue to dominate

MIDLANDS Netball Association (MINA) league defending champions Green Buffaloes have continued to dominate the 2016 league and at the weekend stamped their authority further by beating Kalingalinga Edu-sport 88-14.
The champions, who are the league leaders at 24 points, were merciless in their demolition of the Kalingalinga side who were second best in all departments.
In other games played at the weekend, Zambia Police outfit Nkwazi took a deserved 45-38 win over Zambia National Service side Green Eagles in an exciting match that could have gone either way.
The win took Nkwazi to second position on 21 points, the same with third-placed Prison Leopards who lead on goal difference, though the Kabwe side has a game in hand.
Lusaka City Council beat Tapeza by 54-24, a win that moves them to seventh position on the table with nine points while Tapeza, a young community side, go to eighth position on three points.
Another middle table side Napsa took an easy bashing of Red Arrows with a 41-23 score, a win that took them into the fifth position on the table with 12 points, while Arrows move to ninth position on nine points.
Paramilitary were awarded a 3-0 win over Mazabuka who did not travel for the game and the victory moves them to sixth position, while Mazabuka remain on 11th, with Ellensdale occupying the last place without a single point.
