MULTI-CHOICE Zambia has assured its DStv and GOtv customers of more local content on both Zambezi Magic and OneZed channels.
Public Relations Manager Mwika Malindima said more growth should be expected on OneZed channel which is a purely entertainment platform.
“In this year 2018, expect everything done on Zambezi Magic to be aired on OneZed channel. We are doing this because of the love of our customers,” said Mr Malindima.
Mr Malindima stated in February this year, more than ten products were expected to be launched on Zambezi and OneZed channels.
He said activities such as the ZAFTA and Sotambe would continue which were aimed at promoting local productions.
On the past year, Mr Malindima said the local entertainment content on both DStv and GOtv was good and unprecedented.
He said after being in existence for the past 22 years, multi-choice saw a lot of innovation form local producers especially on Zambezi Magic and One Zed since their inception.
Mr Malindima further noted the training in film engineering, script writing, story telling had made an impact in quality productions on the productions done on the two local channels.
“Multi-choice has invested a lot in visual and audio sound in order for them to compete at the international scene and for viewers to have confidence in them,” said Mr Malindima.
The public relation manager Multi-Choice as a Pan African business entity, would always reward loyal customers in ways that would make them feel appreciated.
‘In 2017 about 25 customers were sent to Livingstone and other places in order for them to feel appreciated for being loyal to Multi-Choice,” he said.
He said as being aware of competition, Malindima noted DStv and Gotv has been a choice for the people and not worried about new comers on the scene.
