SPORTS minister Elvis Nkandu says government will not interfere in the running of sports associations.
He said this when the National Olympic Committee (NOC) Executive paid a courtesy call at his office yesterday.
“As government, we shall not interfere in the running of any sports association and our plea to these associations is that they follow their constitutions in settling wrangles that may arise,” Nkandu said.
He said government also placed great value in improving the welfare of athletes.
