THE Zambia Meteorological Department (ZMD) has warned that the rainy season is likely to be associated with strong winds which may lead to the destruction of infrastructure.
The department’s seven-day weather forecasts more widespread rainfall from Friday this week and warns trees could be felled as more stormy conditions spread across the country
“Therefore, the general public is advised to take precautionary measures,” the department states.
