US stakes K333m for Zambia’s local governance

THE United States (US) government will invest K333 million to support the implementation of a new project designed to strengthen local governance in Zambia. The implementation of the project will be in 27 districts spread across Central and Muchinga provinces over a five-year period. The US government through its Agency for International Development (USAID) launched the new Local Impact Governance project designed to strengthen local governance in Zambia on the national, provincial, and district levels.
