AS this year’s K173 billion National Budget took effect on Saturday, Government has called for adherence to the budgetary provisions to ensure clear economic gains by bringing resources closer to the people, creating jobs and stimulating growth. Secretary to the Treasury Felix Nkulukusa says that the Ministry of Finance and National Planning will introduce ‘performance tracking dashboards’ for each spending agency to promote adherence to implementation of budgeted programmes.
