NAKADOLI Furniture Cooperative (NFC) is looking for K5 million to set up a factory and modern showroom along the Kitwe-Chingola road. The cooperative, which has a membership base of more than 60 wood processors and carpenters that produce diverse products, says its members lack advanced wood polishing tools and a roofed showroom to display their products. NFC board chairperson Iram Simatyaba said in an interview that the cooperative wanted to set up a modern furniture factory and a robust showroom to enable them compete significantly with imported wood products.
