Poultry products continue to stabilise – PAZ

THE price of poultry products have continued to stabilise with significant reduction recorded in the month of January due to low demand. According to the Poultry Association of Zambia (PAZ) January newsletter, the prices of broiler day-old chicks posted some significant reduction with a chick trading at an average price of K14 per day old and the lowest at K12. The market had not recorded any movements on the prices of pullets on the market which were averaging K19 per day old pullet, with the highest being K20 and themaya lowest was still selling at K18 per day.
