ZAMBIA’S COVID-19 cases have gone up by more 200 patients within one day.
According to Zambia National Public Health Institute statistics, the COVID-19 cases rose from 77 on Monday to 291 yesterday, but maintained a single digit positivity rate at nine per cent.
Zambia recorded one COVID-19 associated death, 189 recoveries and 3, 268 tests were conducted as at yesterday.
There were 2, 599 COVID-19 active cases, with 33 patients admitted, 15 on oxygen, give in critical condition and 2, 566 under community management.
