INFLATION in sub-Saharan Africa is tipped to average at 22.1 per cent for the year against the backdrop of rising food and energy prices globally.
Fitch Solutions sub-Saharan Africa country risk head, Jane Morley estimates that inflation will average 22.1 per cent in sub-Saharan Africa this year, more than double the average seen between 2011 and 2020.
