MINE expert Peter Chileshe has observed that the continued politicisation of new mining projects by communities and environmental advocate groups will hinder the country’s quest to achieve three million tonnes of copper in the next decade.
Professor Chileshe said the environmental protection laws supervised by the Zambia Environmental Management Agency (ZEMA) were enough to assure a safeguard of the environment.
