$4.5m drips to waste

MORE than US$4.5 million of drips manufactured by the International Drug Company (IDC) based in Kabwe are going to waste as the Government has allegedly shunned buying the product opting for imported ones, a Parliamentary watchdog committee has said.
The Committee on Health chairperson Christopher Kalila appealed to the Zambia Medicines and Medical Supplies Agency (ZAMMSA) to address the issue with IDC where the drips are going to waste in its storage facilities.
