PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema yesterday used his visit to Ndola where he officially opened this year’s Zambia International Trade Fair (ZITF) to call for stronger bilateral ties with the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and instructed line ministers to make sure the four-month long congestion problem at Kasumbalesa border — which Zambia’s gate-way to the DRC — is resolved.
The president also expressed his desire to see the Copperbelt restored as Zambia’s industrial hub.
