It’s been a great week of football as some of the best club teams from all over Europe played in match day 4 of 6 in the group stages of UEFA Championship. It has of course not been smooth sailing with certain clubs still struggling to find their form well into the first half of the season. The matches were played on Tuesday and Wednesday evening with the highest score coming from the match between Liverpool vs Rangers which ended in 7-1 for Liverpool after the final whistle. Match day 5 of 6 will take place at the end of the month on the 25 th and 26 th of October. Get the best odds on football and many other types of sport from around the world at sport bet zambia.
Here are the table standings of the UEFA Championship after this week’s matches. Napoli and Liverpool are at the top of group A with a considerable lead over Ajax and Rangers. Both Liverpool and Napoli will advance past the match day group stage regardless of the outcomes of the remaining two matches. Club Brugge and Porto sit at the top of group B but the only Club Brugge has already booked their spot in the play off stage of the tournament. Bayern and Inter are leading the pack at the end of this week’s play in group C and it seems that Barcelona will not once again not advance to the knockout stage for the second year in a row. The competition is still very much alive in group D with all teams still having a chance to make it through to the knock out stage but Tottenham is at the moment leading the pack. Group E is in the same boat as group D with all teams still being able to make it through to the play off stage, Chelsea is at the top with a small lead of one point over RB Salzburg. Real Madrid in group F has also booked their spot and will go past the group stage matches but the last group stage matches taking place later this month will confirm which of the other 3 teams will be the team that advances. Man City and Dortmund will be the two teams that goes through to the knock out stage in Group G. Lastly we come to group H where PSG and Benfica have both made it through and will be advancing to the next round stage.
