Report forecasts manganese deficit

THE high-purity manganese market may face a deficit as early as 2024 due to increased demand as a result of its use on Electric Vehicles (EV), a report by Mining.com has stated.
The report estimates the price at $3,300 per tonne by 2027, growing to $4,000 by 2031 for Europe and North America, considering the cost of freight from China and costs with green credentials.
