GOD Edgar Lungu to incarcerate me for 127 days on a trumped-up treason charge in 2017 to enable me appreciate the conditions in correctional facilities, President Hakainde Hichilema has said.
President Hichilema said while Mr Lungu, thought he was punishing him for a crime he did not commit and was later acquitted, God wanted the UPND leader to see first-hand the numerous challenges that inmates and the Zambia Correctional Service (ZCS) were grappling with.
