ZAMBIA’S outing to the Boxing Road to Paris 2024 Africa qualifying tournament is turning into anear-disaster with female featherweight Mary Mhango joining the long list of casualties.
Mhango, who entered the ring as number seven of the eight Zambians at the games, was stopped late in the last round of her bout against NigerianJoy Ojo Nene.
This defeat now means five of seven Zambians have seen their Olympic quests end at the first hurdle of a tournament taking place in Dakar.
