SPEAKER of the National Assembly Nelly Mutti has said the assembly is in the process of transforming the Zambia Woman Parliamentary Caucus (ZWPC) into a Standing Parliamentary Committee on Women Affairs to give prominence to women affairs in Parliament.
The Speaker was optimistic that transforming the ZWPC into a standing committee would be instrumental in achieving gender parity in the Zambian Parliament.
