THE Government has implored financial institutions to help bridge the gap between financial literacy and inclusion.
Eastern Province Minister Peter Phiri said financial literacy and inclusion gap help citizens to be better equipped and make informed financial decisions.
Mr Phiri said during the official opening of the United Bank for Africa (UBA) Chipata branch yesterday, that with the help of banks, citizens could evaluate financial products, understand interest rates and avoid costly mistakes, such as falling into debt traps.
