THE Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) has authorised VDVI Company of the Netherlands the acquisition of 33.33 per cent shares in Handyman’s Lime Limited and Astro Quarries Limited.
CCPC senior public relations officer Mubiana Nalwendo said in a statement that the acquisition was based on the analysis and findings that the transaction would not raise competition concerns that could lead to substantial lessening of competition and abuse of dominant position of market power.
