‘Poor’ officiating irks Napsa coach

MTN Super Division side Napsa Stars assistant coach Geoffrey Hamakwende says local referees are the biggest catalyst to Zambian football clubs’ poor performance at the continental level.
Speaking in an interview after his side lost 2-1 to Mufulira Wanderers on Sunday at Shine Stadium, Hamakwende said biased officiating was not helping football in the country.
Hamakwende, standing in for Perry Mutapa who is out upgrading his coaching badges, said it was time something was done to arrest the situation because too many clubs were complaining about poor officiating.
