REMMON Events has announced the launch of phase two of Pompi’s Pole Pole album tour in selected parts of Zambia.
Pompi had a successful first phase of the tour in September this year with two shows held in Lusaka and one on the Copperbelt.
But his loyal fan base around the country was ravenous for their own share of the five-album artiste’s performances on stage, and their calls to grace their different towns have been answered.
“After the success of phase one, we are excited to manage this highly-anticipated tour, especially at a time when Esther Chungu, Pompi’s wife, officially returns from maternity leave to join her husband on stage, showcasing her captivating ‘Umwala’ album,” said Remmon Events chief executive officer Daniel Mwiinga.
Excited to have his wife join him on tour, Pompi said: “Any opportunity I get to spend with my wife on stage is amazing. She is a sensational singer and my personal ‘Shamboko’”.
Shamboko is a word borrowed from the couple’s award-winning song by the same name.
The sensational singing couple promises an unforgettable musical experience as they embark on their first musical tour across the heart of Zambia.
