EXIMBANK India eyes Zambia’s ‘massive’ economic potential

ZAMBIA has been identified by the Export-Import Bank (EXIMBANK) of India as one of the 16 African countries with massive economic potential which the bank is targeting to support.
The EXIMBANK of India has placed Zambia in category ‘B’ whose members have massive potential with no significant issues, alongside countries like Ivory Coast, Egypt, Kenya, Morocco and Algeria.
The bank is a specialised financial institution wholly owned by the Government of India with presence in India and some foreign cities around the world which was set up in 1982 to help finance, facilitate and promote this country’s international trade and investments.
