HH acts to snuff out cholera

PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema says the Government will not allow new settlements to mushroom without basic facilities like roads, drainages and clean water supply.
President Hichilema reiterated his directive that no new shallow wells would ever be allowed in townships and that all the existing ones must be buried.
Speaking in Lusaka yesterday during a media interaction at Community House after he returned from his holiday in Southern Province which he cut short, President Hichilema said such measures were aimed at preventing cholera from being an annual problem in Zambia.
