PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema yesterday held a meeting with the ‘Africa 50’ delegation, a Pan-African investment platform created by African governments and the African Development Bank (AfDB) to address the continent’s crucial infrastructure funding needs for economic progress.
During the meeting with Africa 50 chief executive officer CEO Alain Ebobissé and his team on the sidelines of the 37th African Union Heads of State and Government Summit, the President conveyed eagerness to explore opportunities within Africa 50 that focused on areas such as food and energy security.
