WB gives Zambia $170m for phase 2 agribusiness trade project

THE World Bank has given Zambia US$170 million support towards the implementation of phase two of the Zambia Agribusiness Trade Project (ZATP), whose aim is to enhance entrepreneurship in all the 10 provinces of the country.
The project would be implemented by the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry.
Commerce, Trade and Industry Permanent Secretary John Mulongoti said the financial support would assist in identifying business ideas in different parts of the country and contribute to the economic development.
