KABWE District Commissioner Lennox Shimwambwa says the town has the potential of becoming one of the country’s investment destinations in terms of tourism.
Mr Shimwambwa said the two historic places, Mukuyu tree and the Broken Hill man site, which despite being monuments had not been secured and were currently in private hands.
The Broken Hill man skull which was discovered by a Swiss miner, Tom Zwigelaar in 1921 at Kopje during mining operations was declared a National Monument by the Government on August 26, 2019.
