Dollar still trading below K25

THE Kwacha has for the third consecutive week continued to put up a good fight against the United States (US) dollar to still trade below the K25 psychological mark.
According to the Bank of Zambia (BoZ) daily exchange rate updates, the local currency opened this week’s trading session buying at an average of K23.06 and selling at K23.10.
However, the Kwacha was last week buying at an average of K22.89 and selling at K23.04 thereby representing a K0.21 depreciation against the dollar.
