SMEs urged to utilise LuSE as market platform

THE Lusaka Securities Exchange (LuSE) has urged Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to make use of its alternative market platform to raise their capital formation .
LuSE chief executive officer Nicholas Kabaso said during a hybrid virtual women’s month engagement meeting recently, that LuSE had continued to play a critical role in helping SMEs raise capital through alternative market options.
“We have the main tier that requires a minimum of K20 million to trade on the platform and on the other hand we are supporting SMEs’ access to long term capital through LuSE alternative market, K250,000 to K20 million per year is needed to participate,” Mr Kabaso said.
