PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has urged African governments to invest in teachers for them to meet standards of teaching aligned with the 21st century.
The President says doing so will help the continent achieve universal education.
President Hichilema said this yesterday in a speech read for him by Vice President W.K Mutale-Nalumango at the Africa Federation of Teaching Regulatory Authorities (AFTRA) 11TH Conference and 13th Roundtable in Lusaka yesterday.
He said there was need for current the current and future generations to receive a good education.
