Zambia, Turkey pledge to grow trade

ZAMBIA and Turkey have pledged to continue working together and grow trade which doubled from US$25 million in 2021 to US$52 million in 2022.
The Zambian government says the two countries have continued enjoying good diplomatic relations and collaborations in various sectors of the economy, thus giving potential for further growth in trade.
Tourism Minister Rodney Sikumba said that currently the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) which was responsible for Turkey’s official development assistance to developing countries, was undertaking various programmes in Zambia.
