Accountant pockets K700,000 for NAPSA, ZRA dues

A LUSAKA accountant has been sued by his employer for the disappearance of around K700,000 meant to be remitted to the National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) and the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA).
Victor Katembula, employed by Xiangmeng Meng and Taishan Investment Zambia Limited is said to have pocketed a total of K733,160.98.
His employer, Xiangmeng Meng and Taishan Investment (Z) Limited, who ended up paying the money to NAPSA and ZRA, sued Katembula seeking an order that he paid back the money.
