EDUCATION Minister Douglas Syakalima has announced that 78 per cent of the candidates who sat for the 2024 Junior Secondary (Grade 9) External examination and 87 per cent of their General Certificate of Education (GCE) examination counterparts passed in at least one subject.
Mr Syakalima said 119,928 candidates registered for the 2024 Junior Secondary External examination, comprising 51,790 boys and 68,138 girls.
