VICE-PRESIDENT WK Mutale-Nalumango says the National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) has extended the waiver for penalty for defaulting companies for a further 12 months.
This is due to the challenges the industries faced arising from energy instability caused by the 2023/2024 drought that affected hydro power generation.
Ms Mutale-Nalumango said the waiver was a mutual understanding that some companies failed to pay because of load-shedding in the industries that affected production.
