WE are urging the Road Development Agency to quickly patch the potholes on the Kitwe-Chingola road to avoid traffic accidents.
Recently, a man died after he was hit by a truck that was avoiding a pot hole on the same stretch.
Another one happened in the similar way in which the acid tanker plunged into the bush as the driver tried to avoid the pothole.
The patching of the potholes must be done as quickly as they develop, this will help reduce the already high death rate the country is experiencing.
Meanwhile, the expansion of the major roads must be quick as most of them were constructed at a time when the volume of traffic was very low in the UNIP era.
