Consumers should be cautious about mineral water that is being sold cheaply on the streets as well as bus stations because the contents could not be genuine.
A recent incident revealed that, much of the water packed in branded containers from reputable water firms, is actually drawn from taps.
The water is being sold at between 50 Ngwee and K1 per 500 mls bottle and due to desperation, consumers have been hooked to it unknowingly, compromising their health.
