MULTICHOICE and SuperSport has commended Zambian Super Division teams and administrators for responding well to the procedures and regulations set in order to ensure smooth broadcast of the local games
Public relations manager Marlon Kananda said in a statement in Lusaka yesterday that both MultiChoice and SuperSport have been impressed with the good response received since the start of broadcasting Week One games.
“The teams are responding very professionally and I can see another great year in terms of covering the local games.
I will be failing in my duties if I do not salute and thank the Zambian soccer fans, who have been trooping to the stadium, chanting and supporting their local teams, a soccer fan is an important person and stakeholder in the world of football and we encourage them to continue supporting the teams, buying the replica jerseys and going to the stadiums,” Kananda said.
He said the Zambian soccer league is getting more interesting and has a huge following and SuperSport will be there to get all the action.
On the interviews for local personnel, Kananda said the process will commence soon adding that the response for cameramen and commentators has been good.
“What’s interesting is that we have women applying for such jobs, this is very good for the game and makes the process gender balanced,” he said.
This weekend SuperSport will beam live the MTN-FAZ Premier League Week Four match between Indeni and National Assembly starting at 12:45 hours at Nkana Stadium before showing the Nkana versus Roan United match at 15:00 hours.
Action moves to Chililabombwe on Sunday where Nchanga Rangers take on Power Dynamos in an early kick off before Konkola Mine Police take on Red Arrows in a 15:00 hours clash.
