lets talk careersBy SYCORAX NDHLOVU –

As we were discussing whether the weather was moving from summer to winter or vice versa, the issue of witchcraft in workplaces cropped up.

Problems in beliefs arise when people speak from different socio-cultural backgrounds. As such, one cannot believe whether witchcraft exists or not.

But for you to have an idea of whether it exists; and can be a career or not, ask those who had witchcraft related experiences in their respective life or while working for a certain organisation.

This is a true story. Those of us who write in newspapers or talk on radio or on television, like any other human beings, are good at thinking; and sometimes we are also very creative and imaginative. But the good thing is that we don’t depend wholly on ourselves on most of the things we write on or talk about.

We depend on other members of society who tell us what happens to them or to their friends and relatives or in society.

Our role is simply to listen to, process, analyse, interpret the issue concerned; and if it has any grain of public interest in it, we share the same with the society that we serve.

The reported witchcraft levels in some organisations which some workers are practising are affecting other people’s career development processes and their living standards.

Therefore, let’s share what negatively or positively affects other people’s careers and life.

Before I go further, just think for a moment. Have you ever suspected witchcraft yourself in any given situation in your life? Don’t rush in answering this question.

I said just think for a moment. And you can’t know how long my moment is. Take your time; and think about what has been happening to you throughout your life. If you are too young to have accumulated enough knowledge and experience about the ups and downs of life, ask different people on witchcraft related issues.

You might get a story like the one I am sharing with you.

Sharing such stories is important. Our esteemed readers have the right to know what is happening around them for them (our esteemed readers) to make informed decisions in determining their own destiny.

Whatever I am going to share with you doesn’t mean that I heard about what some of you do or what happened to you in relation to witchcraft.

This story has nothing to do with you, what you do or plan to do to you fellow workers or to your bosses. But it is a true story of what some workers and some bosses do to their fellow workers or their bosses which has negatively or positively affected other people’s careers and life.

And I am not going to mention names of people doing such things. But to be close to the truth so that you belief what I am writing on because that is one of the purposes of writing (to make people believe), I am going to whisper to you some of the private and public institutions where some form of or the actual witchcraft is reported to be rampant.

Someone was saying he will influence bringing a powerful witchdoctor at his workplace remove some workers’ witchcraft because some workers were using too much juju in the respective workplace.

Now according to sources close to where witchcraft is rampant, witchcraft can be positive or negative.

Positive witchcraft is one which gives some people luck while a negative one is said to be one which makes other people suffer in various ways. Which one do you know? (practise?)

You seem to be intimidating me not to reveal some organisations where witchcraft is reported to be high. Why? Some workers are living in fear or they are not doing their work properly because they fear those who are practising witchcraft not to bewitch them. Some supervisors or some bosses just sign anything such workers want for fear of being bewitched.

So whatever institution I am going to mention which is reported to have high witchcraft practices is not necessarily full of negative effects of witchcraft but can also be full of positive effects of witchcraft. But at the end of the day, witchcraft is witchcraft.

Now I am about to whisper the names of organisations where I am told it can be bad as far as witchcraft is concerned.

Just imagine when a certain worker or a certain boss goes on leave, any other worker cannot sit on his or her chair; not even the one who is acting in his or her position. The chair or office is ‘Don’t touch; or else.’

And whoever tries to sit on that chair or use that office just because such a person feels that he or she is filled with the Holy Spirit or the Blood of Jesus; therefore, no witchcraft can affect him or her; the consequences depend on how strong the faith in the Holy Spirit or on the Blood of Jesus is. If the faith is low and weak; one finds that the legs of this person who sat on ‘don’t touch chair or office’ start swelling.

Did such happen to you? Haven’t you heard of such stories?

If you don’t believe what I am saying, there is no problem.

But I encourage you to ask those who have experienced, seen or heard of such developments in some organisations.

Someone is winking to me not to reveal the names of some organisations where witchcraft is practised. I am praying hard that I will be guided to reveal at a certain point against this person’s advice.

As at now, just continue reading this article because one of the sentences or paragraphs within this article will reveal such organisations.

And fortunately, or unfortunately, these are organisations where job creation is high every year.

And such organisations pay good salaries with good conditions of service with many privileges where one can easily lead a full and decent life in line with the purpose of the second coming of Jesus Christ according to John 10.10.

I hope your organisation won’t be mentioned.

But please when I mention the stated organisations, I don’t want the same witchcraft to come to me for revealing such an issue.

Please, I have a career to manage. The only reason why I have written on this topic is because it is part of my terms of reference in this column to write on whatever negatively or positively affects career development process for workers.

Before I reveal some organisations where witchcraft is reported to be high, even some individuals use witchcraft to make a living.

Someone told me that there was some relatively young man who had some good wealth through some kind of business; but had a ‘breathing’ charm in his pockets. Don’t ask me how I knew about such charm which was seen by some other people although they didn’t report this to the news media organisations.

Someone told me that police officers see a lot of things when they apprehend someone who has committed a crime.

Don’t commit a crime because when you do so, firstly, you will be arrested by the police.

And when they arrest you, they will inspect all your parts of the body; and tell you to declare anything you have in your pockets. This is where and when some witchcraft someone uses can be revealed.

Secondly, when you are arrested, your career will be disturbed or completely doomed.

But those witchdoctors, who receive various health and social related problems from people, are not in the witchcraft career? Those who tell a complainant that we can make the person who stole your bicycle or a vehicle develop a swollen stomach for him or her to bring back that bicycle or vehicle. Is that not being in witchcraft career?

Some of these drivers who drive bosses or truck drivers drive on long routes don’t want to go on leave whatever happens because they know what they did to the vehicle they drive. No one can drive it. When someone tries to drive it; it is either it will not start or that person will become sick forever; and lastly join the majority.

You can imagine some police officers using witchcraft on their friends so that a friend becomes sick for him or her not to accompany ‘big people’ on a trip somewhere for more money in his or her pocket. Doesn’t the officer who has been framed to be sick want more money in his or her pocket?

I haven’t heard much about witchcraft being practised in our army; but all I have just been told is that one has to be careful whenever he or she is employed in any security wing institution because some officers like using positive or negative witchcraft for or against their fellow workers. Is it true?

But this doesn’t mean that witchcraft is not there in other government institutions, parastatals and some civil society organisations. Just find out from those who are working in some of these powerful institutions and organisations. You might get something related to this story.

So some people are running two careers in one. While on the door is shows that title; inside that title, there is a witchcraft career.
