Nkana 5 Warriors 0
STRIKER Ronald ‘Sate Sate’ Kampamba scored a brace as champions Nkana ended their seven game winless run after whipping bottom placed Kabwe Warriors in this exciting MTN-FAZ Premier League Week Seven clash.
Yesterday’s emphatic win also saw Nkana open their scoring account and in the same vain heap pressure on their struggling guests, who dropped rock bottom with two points and without a win.
Kampamba’s brace plus a goal each by Evans Kangwa and Kelvin Mubanga including a Panji Sikanyika own-goal handed Nkana their first league win of the season after three successive scoreless draws.
Kangwa put Nkana ahead in the fourth minute when he headed in the opening goal before Kampamba added two more in the 26th and 32nd minutes, to see Nkana take a 3-0 lead into the break.
Mubanga added the fourth goal in the 47th minute on the rebound after Kangwa’s initial shot came off the woodwork.
Nkana wrapped up their win in effortless fashion in the 80th minute when Sikanyika turned the ball into his own net under pressure from the advancing Kampamba on the near post.
Roan 1 Power 1
Pacesetters Power Dynamos yesterday survived a scare before denying a 10-man Roan United victory and preserve their unbeaten run in the 2014 MTN Premier Division League season, FELIX MALUNGA reports from Kafubu Stadium.

In this thrilling Week Seven fixture played before a packed stadium, Roan stunned the league leaders by taking the lead on 20 minutes through an expertly struck Arthur Kaseloki free-kick which eluded Power goalkeeper, Joshua Titima.
Power were lucky to end the first half just trailing 1-0 after referee Allan Simukonda called back an Anos Tembo goal for offside.
Roan suffered a setback early in the second half after goalkeeper Evans Mwewa was streched out after colliding with a rampaging Power attacker, Alex Ng’onga.
With a victory seemingly assured, Roan were reduced to 10 men when Kaseloki was sent off for a second bookable offence, throwing the initiative to the visitors.
Taking advantage of their numerical advantage, Power gracefully restored parity on 77 minutes through towering Richard Kasonde who headed home a Lawrence Chungu set piece.
Power maintain their three points cushion at the summit on 17 points.
Arrows 1 Zesco 1
Substitute Stanley Nshimbi scored an injury time goal to deny his former coach George Lwandamina from collecting maximum points at Nkoloma Stadium in this thrilling match that saw Red Arrows and Zesco United sharing spoils in Lusaka, reports CLEVER ZULU.
This match beamed live on SuperSport saw the visitors take the lead just before the stroke of half time through a Cletus Chama goal and Lwandamina was destined to prove a point over his former employers before Nshimbi headed in a Joseph Zimba cross in stoppage time.
Arrows striker Lubinda Mundia came close in the 86th minute to level scores but his header hit the crossbar as his team-mate Daniel Sibanda claimed the man-of-the-match award to get a Gotv decoder. Zesco remain second with 14 points while Arrows went up to 10 points.
Assembly 0 Buffaloes 0
In an earlier kick-off at Nkoloma Stadium, National Assembly missed the chance to close up on the top two after being held to a draw by Green Buffaloes in an entertaining match that failed to produce goals.
The draw temporarily saw Assembly enjoy second slot before Zesco took over following their win over Arrows while Buffaloes moved to seven points. Alick Tembo, who was a menace to the Buffaloes defenders, claimed the man-of-the-match award to get a Gotv decoder.
Buffaloes started the match well with Buchizya Mfune hitting the crossbar from a free-kick as Assembly were denied a penalty after Timothy Mbewe was fouled inside the box in the 45th minute.
Eagles 1 Rangers 1
From Choma, NCHIMUNYA MUGANYA reports that Bornwell Mwape salvaged a point for Nchanga Rangers late in the match to deny 10-men Green Eagles from registering their first win of the campaign.
Eagles took the lead in the 33rd minute when Mwila Mwelwa scored from the spot. But Mwape levelled matters two minutes after Chansa Katongo was sent off for the home side in the 83rd minute for accumulating two yellow cards.
Rangers now have eight points while Eagles remained searching for their first win of the season on four points.
Blades 1 Mine Police 0
At Konkola Stadium, Humphrey Maseneko scored a 68th minute winner as Konkola Blades won the Chililabombwe derby against Konkola Mine Police. Blades extended their unbeaten run to three matches moving to nine points with Mine Police stuck on five points.
