By GRACE CHAILE –

ZAMBIA women soccer team coach Charles Bwale has warned his side against complacency ahead of next week’s clash against Zimbabwe in the final round of qualifiers for a place at the Namibia 2014 Africa Women Championships.
Speaking an interview at Sunset Stadium after watching his side thrash Rwanda 3-0 in an international friendly match, Bwale said the win was a morale booster that should motivate the team to victory over Zimbabwe.
Bwale, however, said players should continue working hard to beat Zimbabwe because it would be a different ball game from the one against Rwanda.
Goals by Hellen Mubanga, skipper Kabanje Mupopo and Rachael Lungu gave Zambia a deserved win ahead of the May 23, clash against Zimbabwe in Harare with the return leg to be played two weeks later.
He heaped praise on Lungu Lwendo Chisamu whom he said combined well in the second half creating good opportunities for the strikers.
Rwanda coach, Grace Nyinawumuntu described Zambia as a strong team with a lot of experienced players.
Nyinawumuntu said.
She was happy that her team played Zambia in readiness for the clash against Nigeria in a two-legged qualifier for a place at the October AWC slated for Namibia.
Meanwhile, Nyinawumuntu said she did not expect her team to lose by such a margin and attributed the defeat to fatigue by the players
after a long trip.
